I use a holistic, client-centred, evidence-based approach reflective of my clients’ needs and goals. My neurodivergent-affirming and culturally sensitive approach throughout the therapeutic journey integrates a wide range of therapeutic methods, including Interpersonal Therapy, Relational Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, ADHD-adapted Psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also incorporate Gestalt and Narrative Approaches into my work to help clients explore their lived experiences and challenges. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental therapeutic space that is reflective of you. I achieve this by striving to understand your lived experiences from your unique perspective. This commitment to understanding is the cornerstone of our therapeutic relationship, and it is what allows us to progress on this healing journey together. As we continue, our bond will strengthen, fostering the safety and understanding you need to be vulnerable. Let’s move forward, generating hope as we work towards your desired goals.

I offer a client-centred approach to therapy built on empathy, compassion and unconditional positive regard. Since each individual is unique, I draw from an eclectic mix of interventions and modalities based on an individual’s needs and therapeutic goals. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, etc. I am passionate about the body’s ability to hold emotional pain and I navigate therapy through a biopsychosocial lens, helping clients identify their mind-body connection through somatic techniques.

As a graduate student in the practicum phase of my Master’s in Counselling Psychology program, under clinical supervision, I come with a host of skills from nearly 18 years of experience as an educator and vice-principal, working in public service. As a neurodivergent, queer human, I am no stranger to this world and the systems that have the ability to welcome and claim us, or deny and alienate us. Through Cyclical Psychodynamic Therapy (where patterns become clearer, as does a way forward), Somatic Therapy (that informs your relationship with your body’s intelligence), and Compassion Focused Therapy (to help orient your mind toward greater awareness and healing), so much is possible in our work together. If your hope is to ease stress or burnout, explore practices that help uncover patterns in your life and the thoughts and feelings connected to them, or reinvigorate resilience processes for a more connective way forward—consider booking a free 15-minute call and let’s see what’s possible.

Perhaps your child is embracing neurodivergence, with their unique strengths and ways of experiencing the world, and you’re looking for support in nurturing their growth. Or maybe you’re an adult finding your way through self-doubt, anxiety, burnout, or unresolved childhood experiences. If you’re looking for guidance to unlock greater understanding, build confidence, and move forward, I’m here to help.
